A Striking limited edition plaster cast tile made using Alliums & Poppies to create the raised impression
Real flowers are lovely but do not last long, by casting them I am preserving them to be enjoyed forever. The plaques are made by pressing a real Allium seedheads, frm my sisters garden, along with Poppy seed heads from Ouseburn farm, into clay. They were then removed, a frame put round & plaster poured over. When this is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the 3D impression with an incredible amount of detail.
The plaque is a limited edition, signed & numbered on the back. You can hang the plaque on a wall using the 2 key hole brackets on the back, you will need 2 screws in the wall (not included). It looks equally good propped up on a shelf. For anyone who loves plants, flowers, nature or gardening, this would make an ideal gift that they could treasure forever - Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding, house warming, Christmas.
