This is one of a collection of prints from the 'Botanical Series'. The Allium seed head is depicted as a striking image in Black against a textured vintage style Sepia background. Text about the plant is incorporated in the print. Allium is one of about fifty seven varieties of flowering plants with more than five hundred species including onion, garlic, scallion, shallot & chives. Allium is also the Latin word for garlic. The artwork is a combination of photography, drawing & digital manipulation.
