I recently visited Hadrians Wall in Northumberland & found this wonderful ridge of trees. The air was cold, crisp & very still, the late afternoon sunlight light just incredible. The light changed dramatically while I was there so I have created 2 different artworks - Tree Ridge 1 & 2, with very different backgrounds & colours. To this version I added a landscape of deep, rich Blues, Purples & Greens, creating layers of texture & colour. The artwork is a combination of photography & digital manipulation.
The print is signed & looks equally good displayed on a wall or shelf. It would make an ideal gift for anyone who loves trees, nature and the landscape.
