A Striking limited edition plaster cast wall plaque made using real Honeysuckle plants to create the raised impression
Real flowers can only be enjoyed for such a short time, by casting them I am preserving them to be enjoyed forever. The plaques are made by pressing real Honeysuckle plants into clay. They were then removed, a frame put round & plaster poured over. When this is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the 3D impression with an incredible amount of detail, the sculptural twisting stems & delicate petals.
Each plaque is signed & numbeed on the back, they are limited editions. There are 2 keyhole brackets on the back for hanging on a wall using 2 screws (not included). It looks equally good propped up on a shelf.
