Shepherds Purse Plaster Cast Wall Art

Striking Shepherds Purse plant used to create plaster cast decorative wall plaque. The plants are from my garden

The relief image is created with real flowers pressed into clay, which are then cast in plaster after the flowers are removed. There is an incredible abount of detail picked up with the process. Shepherds Purse is classed as a weed by many people but I love the delicate sculptural qualities of it. The seed heads are heart shaped.

This would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, gardening or nature. There is a keyhole bracket on the back for hanging on a wall, or it looks equally good displayed on a shelf. It is signed on the back.

Plaster is porus so avoid handeling too much & rooms with lots of condensation. Only suitable for indoor use. Clean lightly with a soft dry cloth.

Available as a plaque on its own, or mounted on an Ash, dark stained Ash or Oak hardwood
