This is one of a collection of prints from the 'Botanical Series'. The Teasel is depicted as a striking image in Black against a textured vintage style Sepia background. Text about the plant is incorporated in the print. There are about 15 species of Teasel, the seeds are an important food for birds in winter. They grow to a height of 1 - 2.5 meteres tall. The artwork is a combination of photography, drawing & digital manipulation.

There are several prints in the 'Botanical Series', they are all signed & look equally good displayed on a wall or shelf, you can make quite a statement by displaying several together. They would make an ideal gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, nature and the landscape.
