Fine art print created using a combination of photograph & digital manipulation of this beautiful old doorway at Stockton Bury Gardens in Leominster.
My sister took me to see Stockton Bury Gardens in Leominster earlier this year, what a wonderful place to visit. As well as the planting there are old buildings with really interesting architectural details as in the print I have created. The beautiful old wooden door is set into a stone wall & overhung with foliage. I love the intrigue of not knowing what is behind the door & having to imagine it yourself. I have used my favourite Blue / Green colours along with layers of texture to create print No.1, & a different colour combination of Blues and muted Yellows for No.2
