On trend baby blue and navy are combined on these velvet cushions which have complementary floral and geometric designs from Florence's archive.
These luxe cushions can be mixed and matched for impact - they sit perfectly together as companions - or use them individually for a quieter statement. Florence's beautiful botanicals and bold geometrics seen here in her Japanese Floral, Papyprus, Shadow Floral and Pagoda designs were undoubtedly influenced by her travels around the globe through the 1920s and 30s.
Pagoda (top of stack) is a classic design from Florence’s rich catalogue of lattice designs, featuring a striking navy design on baby blue.
Japanese Floral (second) is one of Florence's most iconic designs. Exotic landscapes from the 1920's period are clearly evident in her designs; we can imagine Japanese Floral originating from her time exploring the tea gardens of the orient. This luxe velvet cushion features navy flowers on baby blue.
Papyrus (third) features stately bullrushes, reeds and feathery heads, which transport you to a tropical waterway. This luxe velvet cushion features bright yellow papyrus heads and navy reeds on baby blue.
Shadow Floral (bottom) captures the spirit of Florence's exotic travels with a rich silhouette of ferns, flowers, palm leaves and the occasional butterfly. This luxe velvet cushion features navy foliage on baby blue.
All of our cushions are made by hand in the UK and have solid colour piping. They come with a plump duck feather filler (please contact us if you would like microfibre instead). Alternatively, if you have a cushion filler to reuse we can supply the cover only and donate the value of the filler to the homeless charity, Shelter. Please drop us a line if you would like to do this.
Our designs are all derived from scans of Florence's original silk screens. As such, they retain authentic features such as soft edges and minor bleeds that were inherent to the original screen printing process and add to the charm of these archival designs.
