The problem with water alone is that it is a poor cleanser as it does not remove the oil-soluble substances. TO USE:
Add 1-2 scoops of Soothing Coco-Oat Bath Milk into the tub. Hand stir bath water to help dissolve. Soak baby for a few minutes. Gently dry. Naturally cleansing, no need for additional soap

Why?
Following birth, the Vernix, the creamy white coating that covers a newborn baby, should be left on the skin for as long as possible to absorb naturally. For the first week or two we suggest using the top-and-tail method to wash your baby, until the stump of the umbilical cord falls off.Babies are born with a skin pH of 6.4 which reduces over a period of a few days to around 5pH.
