Our Manchester Bee Hanging decoration and Card is part of a new range of greetings cards we are creating.
The Manchester Bee Symbol first came to prominence in the North West during the industrial revolution and was included in the city's coat of arms in 1842. It represents that industrious nature of the city, and the hard working nature of the people of Manchester. We were asked to create a version of the bee and this intricate design was the result. It's our take on the famous symbol.
Cut into 120 gsm gold mirrorcard, the bee is gold on one side and silver on the other. It is finished with a gold ribbon and comes fixed to an A6 black card, with a white insert where you can write your message. The idea is that you can send the card to someone and they can keep the bee as a decoration for ever after. The hanging decoration will then become a reminder of your love for them every time they look at it.
These cards are really gorgeous and will be the ideal card and keepsake for anyone who has ties to the North West, in particular Greater Manchester. They also make perfect Christmas Decorations.
