On the big day you will be asked to fill in a couple of forms, these are just standard Health and Safety questions which we have to ask. We are making food after all. You will then be dressed up like a fudge maker with a hat and apron and allowed into the hallowed grounds of the ‘Fudge Making Area’. You will eat more samples than is probably medically wise, we will tell you the brief history of fudge before throwing a boiling batch onto a marble table (we do this bit for you because we don’t mind the burns), after which you will be schooled by an expert in how to turn a puddle of sugary goo into a beautiful loaf of fudge!
After all that we’ll appraise your handiwork and give you 2 x 3 slice boxes* of fudge to take away. (* Relevant for 2 person voucher. Number of boxes may depend on group size.)
That’s all you really need to know for now. Except to dress appropriately (flip flops and high heels are not ideal) and it’s good to bear in mind that we are a functioning shop as well so customers will be coming in and out and watching you with envy.
