These chunky guys look lovely sat on a bed or chair and are super bright and cuddly! Knitted from any chunky yarn you have in your stash, Humpty is a colourful fun make. Worked flat on straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed, making this pattern suitable for knitters with just a little experience. A lovely introduction to knitting colourwork, there are step-by-step illustrated instructions to take you through making the colourful ‘jumper’ section. Yarns suggested for this pattern: Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky, Stylecraft Special Chunky and King Cole Big Value Chunky. You can use any other chunky yarns you like instead though.
As well as some yarn you will need: a pair of long 4.5mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, a pair of 9mm toy safety eyes and a darning needle.
Humpty measures 55cm tall (21.5 inches) from toes to top of his hat when completed, the perfect size for hugging.
