Downloadable knitting pattern set to knit a pair of super-cute Christmas Elf dolls and a set of personalised Christmas baubles to decorate your home.
Combining two of our favourite festive patterns at a reduced price, these elves and Christmas tree baubles are simple to make and are suitable for knitters with basic experience. Knitted flat on 4mm straight knitting needles and using basic increasing and decreasing, you can use any chunky-weight yarn to make your elves, and add a cheeky smile and pink nose if you like.

To make two elves you will need: Any chunky yarn in Tan, Red, White and Turquoise (we suggest Hayfield Bonus Chunky and Paintbox Chunky yarns), 4mm straight knitting needles, a little black DK yarn for mouths, a little pink felt for noses, white cotton, toy stuffing, darning needle, sewing needle and two pairs of 6mm safety eyes (with click-on plastic backs)
To make the baubles you will need: chunky red wool, 4mm knitting needles, thread, felt, darning needle, sequins, a sewing needle and stuffing. A full alphabet template is included so you can spell out words or simply personalise with family initials. We use a ball of Rico Designs Essentials Mega Wool Chunky 100g in Red which makes seven to eight baubles but you can use any colour or make of chunky yarn. You can also change colour half way through to make two-colour baubles.
