Designed to brighten up your knitting, we love this bright pink Fancy Flamingo toy with sleepy eyes. This is a full-colour illustrated downloadable knitting pattern.
Knitted from chunky pink yarn, the pattern is worked in stocking-stitch and uses simple increasing and decreasing to shape. Flamingo is knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, so no knitting in the round is needed to make him.
Suggested Yarns: We used one ball of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Rose (1542) for the body, wings and feet and small amounts of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Cream (551) for the legs and beak. You’ll also need a very small amount of black chunky for the beak tip- we used Stylecraft Special Chunky in Black (1002).
