Just right for cosy Autumn knitting; knit up a fox and wolf toy wrapped up warmly with this easy to follow downloadable knitting pattern.
Knitted from any Dk yarn you have in your stash, this is a lovely introduction to simple colour-working. The pattern has clear row-by-row instructions along with lots of photos to help you on your way to making a couple of big-tailed toys wrapped up warm in coats, scarves, trousers and stripy socks. Knitted flat on 3mm straight knitting needles, NO knitting in the round is needed to make these cute toys and their clothes.
You'll need to be able to cast on, cast off, knit, purl and increase and decrease to make these toys.
To knit your toys you will need DK yarn in grey and in white for the wolf, and orange and white for the fox (You can use any Double Knitting yarn you like, we used Stylecraft Special DK in Tomato (1723) for the fox and in Silver (1203) for the wolf, along with a small amount of Wendy Peter Pan DK in Snowdrop (PD01) for their white patches. For the clothes we used a selection of Wendy Peter Pan DK colours.)
You will also need straight 3mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, a stitch holder and a darning needle.
Once you have placed your order, look out for an email from notonthehighstreet the same day, which will allow you to download your pattern. Please note this is a downloadable knitting pattern and not a kit.
