Jingle Birds Knitting Pattern

Using only knit stitch, this design is perfect for nervous knitters. Our easy-to-follow step-by-step instruction 'recipe' takes you through every stage of knitting, making up and decorating the birds- an ideal easy project to start children (or adults!) knitting.

To make three soft birds, you will need:

A pair of 4mm knitting needles

Chunky yarn (make the birds in different colours of chunky yarn or all in the same colour)

3 pairs of toy safety eyes (9mm) black

Darning needle

Toy stuffing

White cotton

Felt in pink (or colour of your choice) for feet and beaks

3 little ball-shaped bells (optional)

Metal sewing needle
