This cheerful crustacean is worked flat on 4.5mm needles—no knitting in the round required—making him a speedy project that’s just right for holiday knitting.
What you’ll need: Chunky yarn in red and cream (we used King Cole Big Value Chunky in Cream (551) and Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador (1010), but any chunky yarn from your stash will work), 4.5mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, darning needle, 9mm toy safety eyes, scraps of felt and a length of black double knitting yarn for the mouth. For the crown we used a small amount of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Yellow.
