Welsh Dragon Knitting Pattern

Knit a colourful red Welsh dragon with our complete downloadable knitting pattern; perfect to make as a St David's Day present.

Suitable for knitters with only a little experience, this cute dragon is worked flat on 4mm knitting needles from a single ball of chunky Sirdar yarn, and uses increasing and decreasing stitches to shape. A fun Spring knitting project for adults or children to make.

To knit your dragon you will need: A pair of 4mm straight knitting needles, red chunky yarn (we used a ball of Sirdar No 1 Chunky in shade 0214 Red) a darning needle, toy stuffing and a pair of 9mm black toy safety eyes with click-on plastic backs.
