Knit a set of three summer-themed toys with our newest downloadable knitting pattern collection: a cute crab, sneaky seagull and suspicious fish!
All three patterns in this great value set are knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round is required). You'll need one ball each of cream, yellow and red yarn to make the toys- we used one ball each of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Cream (551) and Yellow (828) and one ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador red (1010) but you can use any chunky yarn you have in your stash.
These patterns are suitable for any knitter who has mastered the basics and is ready for a new challenge- you'll need to use basic increasing and decreasing to shape, but the patterns are step-by-step and include colour photographs to help you on the way. You can also knit a little crown to turn your crab into a King Crab!
