Downloadable knitting pattern to knit and make up a cute sausage dog from chunky yarn. A lovely Christmas knit for dog lovers!
This pattern contains instructions to knit and make up a Dachshund puppy both with or without a colourful jumper. Suitable for knitters with just a little experience, he is knitted on straight knitting needles- there is no working in the round. Sausage dogs measure 30cm long when complete.
Suggested Yarns: We used a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Camel (1420) for the dog. For the (optional) jumper we used some Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador Red (1010). You can of course use any colour chunky yarns you have in your stash if you prefer. You will also need a pair of straight 4.5mm knitting needle, toy stuffing, darning needle, and a length of black chunky yarn for the eyes.
