All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is a non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely food safe. Because we use solid metal the surface of your personalised little acorn Christening spoon will never flake like a silver plated Christening spoon.To clean just wash with warm soapy water.
