This bespoke, personalised map lampshade will make a wonderful, unusual gift perhaps for a partner, dad or brother - or for anyone who likes maps! Handmade in Devon using one of our vast collection of maps - this is the ultimate personalised gift, wonderful for use in a study or on a bedside lamp.
Just tell us your choice of map location (UK locations only - please contact us for a quote for locations for the rest of the world) when placing your order, and we will scour our collection for the perfect map! Available in 2 sizes - 20cm diameter (18cm high) and 30cm diameter (21cm high).
You may also choose whether we make your shade with a pendant (hanging from the ceiling) or lamp (attached to the base from below) fitting - please make your selection from the menu.
Please note that the map used will vary from the photgraphs - we use a mixture of new and vintage OS, Bartholomew, tourist and road maps to create our lampshades. The maps may have been previously used for their intended purpose and so may have some creases, pencil and other marks consistent with previous use as a map. We feel that this further enhances the appeal of the product. Some shades will include part of the map's key. Where possible we will centralise the location chosen by you on the shade, however due to the nature of printed maps, this is not always possible - some locations will feature on the edge of a map.
