Each of our designs includes a personal message area, so you can make your map even more tailored. For a wedding, for example: "The sky over our wedding on June 22nd 2019. On this date, under these stars, we joined our lives."
The exact geographical co-ordinates and the date and time are shown in small font right underneath the star map. However, not the name of the town or place. If you wish the location and the date to be clearly visible on the print, add these in the text fields, or more usual, in the custom caption (title) field; eg. The sky over Sydney on May 13th, 2011.

Greater Skies sky map posters are printed on heavy-weight (260 gsm) archival quality satin photographic paper. Just imagine, a standard printing paper has only 80gsm! We use archive quality inks to ensure the colours of your poster will remain vivid and will not fade over time.
If you choose the framed option, your poster will come encased in an elegant black high-quality wooden frame and a Styrene sheet (this glass-like materiall which is thinner and more transparent than glass, for extra clarity).
If you prefer to choose your own frame, we've made it easy to find one: we selected the size so your poster will fit many standard frames.
