This painting was inspired by the beauty of the Scottish landscape. It was painted with sponaeity and fluidity in bold bright colours to capture the energy in this beautiful landscape.

I use a high quality cotton canvas for my paintings. It is called a box canvas or 'deep edge' canvas meaning it is wide at the edges and does not need to be framed. This gives it a modern contemporary look.
