Surreal Coastline Original Oil Painting

This stunning surreal painting was inspired by a trip to the west coast of England.

It was painted intuitively and from my imagination.

The colours and the frenzied thick brush strokes lend themselves to an other worldly type of coastline.

I use a high quality cotton canvas for my paintings. It is called a box canvas or 'deep edge' canvas meaning it is wide at the edges and does not need to be framed. This gives it a modern contemporary look.
