Each of my key holders are hand-crafted in my worskhop in Worcestershire using techniques to add that 'little bit extra' that you expect from all HBH products. The chalk shelf is glued and screwed for longeity and stability, the bevelled edge to soften the look of the key holder and the oiled finish all combine to produce a finished piece that you are proud to display in your home.
This beautiful key holder is made from solid oak blockboard which is finished with Danish oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood and this can be reapplied as necessary.
The recycled slate is hand cut myself, the edges filed down to give a smoother finish before I put it through a washing and oiling process. The slate is hung with twine.
As each piece is hand-crafted and made using natural materials, no two will be the same, there will be knots and colour variations in each and every one and that just adds to their uniqueness.
