A very high quality solid silver letter opener that is perfect for engraving on the reverse with a name or message.
This is a truly lovely item, hand forged from solid sterling silver (unlike many others which have a hollow silver handle and stainless steel blade). It is a traditional pattern that we have been making for many years and is based on the Georgian meat skewer yet it still seems to look modern somehow.

Variations
The letter opener is available in two weights, please choose from the drop down menu between "standard" and "heavy". The standard weight opener is completely flat on the back and the heavier one is what we call "double struck" which means that the blade is shaped on the front and also on the back, this requires considerably more work on our part. Both can be engraved on the rear of where the hallmark is.
