This is a truly lovely item, hand forged from solid sterling silver (unlike many others which have a hollow silver handle and stainless steel blade). It is a traditional pattern that we have been making for many years and is based on the Georgian meat skewer yet it still seems to look modern somehow.

Variations
The heavy letter opener is what we call "double struck" which means that the blade is shaped on the front and also on the back, this requires considerably more work on our part. This can be engraved on the rear of where the hallmark is.
