Hand made in the U.K. from sterling silver, the dog tag will be imprinted with your loved one's ashes using a technique that dates from the middle ages. This creates a wonderfully organic texture, reminiscent of the moon, and ensures that each and every necklace is truly unique. A small pinch of cremation ashes will be placed within the charm permanently sealed. The back of the tag can also be engraved with a short personalised message. Available both with or without a sterling silver chain, in a choice of style and length, this is a truly special memorial necklace. Providing ashes:
Once we receive your order we will send a kit to enable you to collect a small amount of your loved one's cremation ashes. Our kit includes a sealable plastic bag and spoon, both made from biodegradeable material. We will require a teaspoon of ashes for each item ordered, and will of course return any unused ashes together with your jewellery.
A return envelope is included for ease, however return postage will need to be paid as where possible, we advise sending memorial ashes using Royal Mail's Special Delivery service, to ensure their safe arrival.
MAKING TIME
Our memorial jewellery is lovingly hand made to order and each piece totally unique. Such special pieces should not be rushed and we do need time to ensure each piece is created to our high standards. You will need to allow for 6 to 8 weeks for this item to be made, beginning from receipt of ashes in the studio. The delivery date given above refers to delivery of the ashes collection kit only, not the completed item of jewellery. An estimated delivery date will be provided upon receipt of your ashes.
