Wired Mama was established in 2018; Sophie needed a creative outlet whilst chasing her two small boys around their family home in Norfolk.

Having a background in Fashion and Bridal design it needed to be something which utilized her love of design whilst being flexible enough to work around the troublesome two.

"I stumbled upon wire typography completely by accident, I had bought some wire for a project one Christmas and when it didn't go to plan I decided to use the wire to make name tags for Christmas presents. Everyone loved them and I knew there must be something in it, so the following January I launched Wired Mama."

We have gone from strength to strength adorning so many homes all over the world with our custom pieces.

HOOPLA was launched in October 2019; it was intended to be fabulous gift range. But we find most of our customers just buy for themselves.

The wire typography is manipulated around shaped beech hoops. Each one of our wire words are handmade by eye. You can choose from one of our bestsellers or we have various personalisation options.
