Our Wood Selection Box includes six different wood smoke flavours giving you just the right wood smoke flavour to complement any hot smoking project, easily achieved on a BBQ or smoker using the stainless steel smoker box included with the kit. The woods selection includes robust rich Oak and Hickory for beef, lamb or mackerel, medium sweet smoke of Cherry and Apple for chicken, duck and vegetables, the mellow flavour of Maple for pork and fish and the more subtle tones of Beech for seafood or other delicately flavoured foods.
The Hot Smoked smoker box, made of solid stainless steel, is the key to smoke flavour production. Fill with a handful of your choice of wood chips and place directly onto your BBQ charcoal heat source or just above the gas burners. As the steel heats up the chips begin to gently smoulder, releasing their aromatic flavours infusing the food you are cooking on your grill racks above. A hooded BBQ will give you the best results.
