To ensure it holds water, the vase is handmade from stoneware clay. It is perfect for displaying fresh flowers, herbs, delicate trailing/hanging house plants, air plants or dried flowers.
It can be hung on the wall directly on the nail/hook or the cupboard doors/drawers or any knobs with the ribbon or twine. (Twine is included).
It is glazed inside with transparent glaze and on the outside with bright coloured glazes.
Each item is unique, no two pieces are exactly the same.
The actual colours of the work may differ slightly due to the different screen settings.
To make this vase, I start with cutting out the shape by hand from rolled out, white, stoneware clay. Then I carve in the designs and use stamps for little details. Once biscuit fired, I seal the vase inside with a clear gloss glaze and modestly decorate it with colourful glazes on the outside.
There is an option to add a personalised tag with your own short message.
