Inspired by Jan's time spent in the Swiss Alps, the Jan Constantine Skier Girl Cushion is one of her favourites.
The girl is simply flying down the mountain in this wonderful alpine scene of mountains, trees and snow. The details are all beautifully hand-embroidered in various stitches and pick out the fabulous detail from her red jumper to the snow on the trees behind. The base of the cushion is a soft blue and it is edged in red blanket stitch: our skier girl is also edged in contrast blanket stitch. How fabulous - this wintery cushion pairs beautifully with its Alpine Skiing Man counterpart - not just for Christmas!
