This striking heirloom cushion incorporates the Royal Insignia in gold embroidery on an appliquéd red wool shield. It is encircled by laurel leaves, appliquéd and hand-embroidered in cream and gold onto a deep inky blue wool background. The exquisite detail on the design is hand stitched with antique gold thread and the edges of the cushion are blanket stitched in gold. The cushion opens across the back with two mother of pearl buttons.
