Using traditional methods and tools - and under the guidance of Master Craftsman Johny Todd - you will make a leather belt. No previous experience is necessary and excellent tuition in an inspiring and imersive environment will provide a fun and productive short course. The price shown includes tuition and all materials, and is per person.
During this workshop you will choose belt leather from a range of colours, measure, cut, stitch, decorate and finish your belt design. At the end of the course you will have made your very own unique belt to take away.
No postage necessary as we can send you an E-voucher for Father's Day 2022, but a real leather voucher can also be purchased if a physical item is required.
LOCATION: Woodings Yard Studios, Stafford: in a small courtyard very close to the Town centre; very close to the main railway station; approx.15 minutes from J13 or J14 of the M6. We have is a Craft Beer & Gin Bar with Cafe and artisanal sourdough pizzas right next door to us too. Details for the workshop day, including nearby car parking availability will be provided once a date has been arranged.
DURATION: approx. 3-4 hours
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: A specific workshop date will need to be booked by the participant subsequent to making this purchase. Dates are subject to availability within our workshop program and there may be other participants also making an item on the same date. Sessions will not normally excede 5 persons.
HEALTH & SAFETY: Sturdy shoes or boots with good grip are essential please. Open toe shoes will not be allowed and will exclude participants from the day if worn. Sharp tools and needles will be used throughout the workshop. All materials and relevant tools are provided so please do not bring your own without prior agreement. Health and safety information will be provided when the date of the session is confirmed and a reiteration of this will be given at the start of the actual workshop.
