The Blades of Octopi Ring | Dreams of Dark Creatures
Dreams of Dark Creatures is a collection that explores the world of dreaming and the dark, sultry thoughts of our subconscious that can awaken in our dreams. The main inspiration for this collection came from a painting called ‘The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife’ by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, and depicts a woman (a shell diver) enveloped in the arms of two octopuses in a passionate embrace. The pieces in the collection symbolise such things as passion, lust, anxiety, fear and the unknown, and have all been tied together with a strong nautical theme.
The Blades Of Octopi Ring represents passion and lust, and features the entwined legs of two octopuses that wrap themselves around your finger.
The Blades Of Octopi Ring is available in sterling silver and 18ct yellow gold vermeil.
