Ceramic Butter Dish

Keep your butter covered with this modern rustic, ceramic butter dish, handmade by Kate on a pottery wheel in her garden workshop.

This pattern is called 'Maud', it is hand painted with a grey pigment onto a white glaze. The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay. When the piece fired it creates a lovely effect on the surface of the piece.
