A super eco-friendly wooden brooch featuring my hand drawn illustration of a humble Pigeon, mounted on a silk presentation card.
Using clever printing methods, I've turned this illustration into a nature-friendly lasercut birch wood badge, complete with hypoallergenic clutch pin on the rear to be affixed to whatever you feel! Beautifully tactile with layered wooden grain, it's perfect as a stocking filler for a nature lover, or anyone collecting enamel pins.
The presentation card is made from FSC registered, fully sustainably sourced cardstock. The pin will arrive wrapped in recycled bubblewrap sealed with a sticker, please reuse or recycle it again.
All of my designs are created using the same method. Bamboo grows in the garden, which I cut and hand carve into dip pens. Using lots of different coloured inks, I create nature focused illustrations. I wanted to celebrate the beauty of some of our overlooked urban nature, and pigeon's have beautiful iridescent feathers when you really look at them. An ideal pigeon gift under £10!
