Beautiful and highly detailed print of a hand illustrated map of Friedrichshain, Berlin by Katherine Kannon.
This map was inspired by my time spent living in Berlin and my awesome experiences during this time as well as a LOT of additional research!
The print makes a great gift for those who love Berlin, and looks super cool in a frame on a wall or part of a shelf display.
Friedrichshain is a neighbourhood to the east of Berlin city centre, nowadays popular with young people for partying and having a good time. Being in the old East Berlin Friedrichshain has an excellent array of Eastern-Bloc architecture, which gives this map a very distinctive look.
The map is drawn from a bird's eye perspective and features Karl Marx Allee, Strausberger platz, the Boxi Kiez, Boxhagener Platz Flohmarkt, Simon-Dach Straße, Frankfurter Tor, and of course the Clubs including; Berghain, Kater Blau, Yaam, Club 25, Suicide Circus, and many more!
The print size is A3 (42cm x 21,9cm) and will fit all standard A3 sized frames.
Prints are backed on recycled cardboard and packed in a compostable clear protective sleeve, and then sent in an A3 size card backed envelope.
All packaging used can be recycled or composted.
Please note this print comes unframed.
