Hi I'm Kayleigh Tarrant, I run a Modern Calligraphy & Lettering Studio out in the sticks in Nottinghamshire where I grew up. I can mostly be found hand lettering all the stationery, signage and gifts in my shop! Many of my designs focus on modern calligraphy lettering, a style of lettering which I have honed over the years to create my own unique letterforms. Having always enjoyed writing, illustrating and creating, I set about learning modern calligraphy to design my own wedding stationery a few years ago. After the big day, I continued to practice the art and began making cards, prints and gifts for family and friends (replacing the wedmin!). Thankfully, my hobby soon became my profession, and I feel very lucky to be able to run this small business doing something I really love. I am passionate about sourcing unique materials, especially inks and natural surfaces that speak for themselves so that I can create beautiful products for every one of you, my lovely customers.
