Your shop, cafe or business's storefront is one of the most important parts of your business; you can make this a key part of your visual advertising in a unique handmade linoprint which I will carve and print for you based on a photograph you supply. In collaboration with you, I will create by hand an original piece of artwork, with or without wording beneath it, which will be supplied as an original print in either A4 or A3 size. Both sizes are supplied additionally as a digital file so that you can turn a picture of your business into postcards, gift vouchers, fliers, business cards... the file will be yours to do with as you wish. And the original print can be displayed for all your customers to see! (unless you can't part with it and want it on your walls at home of course).
Reduction linoprints are made using a traditional printmaking method, whereby one piece of lino is used for the entire print, being carved away and printed in several layers. The number of layers will depend on the colours in your photograph, but will typically be from 3 to 5 layers. If you'd like lettering added beneath the print, this is done using vintage letterpress type, which is hand set and inked.
