A stunning way to portray your home, this print is completely unique and made by hand from start to finish. Using your image, I will first draw the house, then transfer the drawing to lino, carve the design by hand and print using the traditional reduction lino method with hand mixed inks.
Reduction linoprints are made with one piece of lino for the entire print, which is carved away and printed in several stages. The number of layers will depend on the colours in your photograph, but will typically be made up of 3 to 5 different colours, giving an incredible textured and layered finish.
If you'd like lettering added beneath the print, this is done using vintage letterpress type, which is hand set and inked. If you want to include any words (for instance the house name, or the date of moving- whatever you wish!) simply select this as an option at checkout. You can also have in simply pencil written beneath the picture.
Every print is sent framed, so makes a perfect moving home gift, or a special birthday present. Gift wrap can be added free of charge.
To supply the photograph simply upload it when logged into your notonthehighstreet account; I will make a drawing showing the general composition, and email them to you for your approval before starting the print.
