All lovers of Cornwall will recognise this iconic seaside town, brought to life in glorious textured colour in a stunning linocut print.
Made using the reduction print technique, carved and inked from one block of lino in five layers of glorious colour, this print is a beautiful depiction of one of the most beloved destinations, St Ives in Cornwall. Relive those magical days by the sea and bring a little bit of the beach into uyour home.
Using the traditional techniques of linocutting, the prints were made from drawings which I transferred to lino, and carved and printed individually by hand. Finished with lettering hand printed using vintage letterpress type, the original prints were limited to a run of 20.
You can purchase an original print, or a poster. If ordering an original, this will be a handprinted limited edition, A3 size, and will be signed and numbered between 1-20. The originals have an incredible tactile quality and you can really see the layers of printmaking ink. They are limited edition due to the printmaking method used.
The posters sold are high quality digital reproductions of the original artwork on 300gsm card, made as an A4 or A3 poster (choose your preferred size when ordering). Whichever print you choose, it will be sent beautifully packaged in recycled tissue, with a recycled cardboard backing and biodegradable clear sleeve to keep it protected.
If choosing the framed A4 version, the frame supplied will be a black 10 x 12" frame.
