Cast Pewter.
We chose to work in Pewter for its natural beauty and because it has a softer look than silver. Pewter castings have the ability to reproduce fine detail allowing the control of subtle textures which enhances this softer look.
Our pewter is an alloy of tin and copper with traces of other metals which, compared to antique Pewter, gives a bright finish that does not tarnish. Over a period of time your pewter frame will develop a patina which can be cleaned using a lint free cloth with glass cleaner or spray polish. Metal polish should be avoided as it will overly brighten the finish. Items can also be cleaned in hot soapy water.
We follow a long line of pewter craftsmen, and wish to honour this lineage in a product that we hope will stand the test of time.
Each photo frame is supplied in a presentation box.
