A hand screen printed wildlife scene, with hand -cut applique butterflies and bird.
From my original detailed embroidery, this cushion cover has been transfered to a hand screen printed panel. The print has maintained the stitch like quality and is difficult to determine whether it is an embroidery or print.
'Art on a cushion!' Hand cut butterflies and lots of different pieces of cut pattered fabrics are added to the little bird creating a 'patchwork' effect. Please note, these fabric pieces vary with each cushion , however, it does not effect the overall appearance of the design and makes each cushion unique.
I can personalise this by adding an embroidered message, name or date, on the reverse of the cushion, for that perfect individual touch. If you have a colour preference, I can include this in your order by adding the bird and butterflies in your chosen colours.
