Gorgeously soft unspun Merino Wool by the kilogram for all of your giant knitting projects!
Merino wool is a beautiful and luxurious wool. It's a soft, tactile natural fibre from Merino Sheep and comes with a higher price tag than some other wools but is completely worth it.
When knitting with Merino wool you do need to be gentle with it and careful with your tension as it can pull apart (if that happens just place the two ends together and roll it together to help bond them) please note that it is not a fault with the wool if it pulls apart, when used correctly it rarely happens.
1kg of wool, when knitted up this equates to around 0.5 Square Metres when using the Giant Knitting Needles from my storefront. If you order 2kg or more, where possible, it will arrive as 1 ball and will knit approximately 1 Square Metre, 3kg will knit to around 1.5 Square Metres and so on.
