Commission a beautiful line illustration of your house, hand-drawn by portrait artists in Devon. Personalised with your choice of text.
The drawing style is clean and contemporary line work. You can provide your own photo after ordering, just upload them via notonthehighstreet.com by going to My Orders and submitting an enquiry, or we can work from Google street view or a weblink (see below for instructions).
Every portrait can be further personalised with a printed message. Your text will be printed on two lines, the top line being a slightly larger size eg: The Orchards / 15 Lane End, Bideford, Devon.
How do I send my photo? Submit an enquiry after ordering to upload a digital photo or send us a website or google street view link. Upload other photos one at a time to show us more detail or any extras you want including. Alternatively you can email your image to [email protected] with your order number.
Variations
Don’t have a photo? Message us with the full address, postcode and a description - we’ll use Google Streeview to locate it. Alternatively buy our Illustration Gift Voucher which the recipient can redeem (listing below).
What do you draw? Your Illustration will be hand-drawn black and white line illustration of the property, not a computer generated image, so we can add/remove things you don’t want eg: cars / lampposts, we won't include dustbins, satellite dishes etc. We sketch the perspective from the photograph. It’s a simplified drawing but if you want more detail please order our ‘Detailed portrait’ at £70 (see listing to right). The drawing will be portrait or landscape that best suits the image. We cannot include people in the drawing, we can include cars and pets for an extra fee.
Can I check what you’ve drawn? Yes - just select yes to a digital proof in the order from, and we’ll upload a proof via a customer enquiry for you to check and make any changes to. We offer up to 3 amends to your original drawing. For further changes there will be an additional charge.

Made from
Hand-drawn illustration digitally printed from the computer with lovely solid black lines on 200gsm acid free, fine grain artists paper. All prints supplied with a white, bevel-cut window mount.
Our frames are all handmade in the UK from solid wood with a 2cm wide profile- choose from 3 styles (see image thumbnail for colours). Supplied with integrated hanging hook and Pilkington glass (extra large frames are glazed with high grade UV perspex for glare reduction and safe shipping).
