Description
This luxury handcrafted wooden wedding post box is perfect for guests to leave cards in and can be locked to keep the contents secure.
The fabulous post box is large enough to hold many cards and some small gifts and will be an unusual talking point on your wedding day. It will provide a feature point for your guests to deposit their cards and, being made from real wood, it is sturdy enough to be used as a storage or keepsake box after the event.
It has a large slot in the front allowing for easy posting and the lid lifts off to access the cards inside.
Variations
The wedding post box is available with a choice of base colour for the main part of the box and a contrast choice of many different colours for the writing (please see the colour box in the pictures or a full list) so there's sure to be something to suit. The front information box can be personalised with up to 5 lines of text containing a maximum of 12 characters on each line and the logo can contain any 2 initials you wish, making the box even more special and personal.
The lid has 2 high quality UK-made brass cabinet locks meaning the box contents can be kept secure. If your wedding venue has advised you to have a locking box then this could be the box you need.
Further personalisation options may be available and more colours can be arranged but if you need either, or both, of these services then please use the 'ask the seller' button to raise an enquiry prior to placing an order. Some of these extras options may incur an additional cost.
Please note: that all items are individually handmade and personalised to order by us in our Lincolnshire workshop and each one takes time to produce. But this does mean that your box will be created especially for you and delivered by courier to your chosen address. We hate to disappoint so please allow plenty of ime between ordering and delivery.

This personalised wedding post box is carefully handmade by us here at Lindleywood, We have been handcrafting our painted wooden boxes since 2008 from high-grade sustainable European redwood pine (known as Scot's Pine) supplied by a small local woodmerchant.They are then handpainted with hard-wearing water-based wood paints. These paints, by Little Greene, a small independent British manufacturer from the northwest of England (who have been creating high quality paints since 1773), enable us to create beautiful products. The paints comply with European Standard BS EN 71-3:1995 (better known as the 'Toy Paint Regulations') so are safe for children too.
Locks: With our locking wedding post box, each box will have 2 keys. Our locks are made of brass by A&E Squire in the West Midlands and they’re one of the few remaining high quality cabinet lock makers in the UK. The Squire family have been making locks for over 300 years and the business is still family owned and run. The same key fits all the locks they supply us with, so the two keys we provide will fit both locks. And if you lose them we can provide more!
Important Note regarding colours: The colours shown on our paint chart are the colours we have available as standard. Please note that although we have tried to accurately portray these colours, Internet browsers and screens may cause colours to appear slightly differently.
Please be aware that each item is individually hand-made and hand-painted to order so one item will differ slightly from another and may not appear exactly as in the photographs of other products. This means that each product is entirely unique and extremely individual! Also note that as we make each item from wood there may some variation in grain. Over time there may also be movement in joints and surfaces. This is down to the nature of ‘real wood' as opposed to synthetic materials and we feel further adds to the individuality of each product.
