Recycled Glass Decorative Ceramic Bowl

A beautifully made fused glass decorative ceramic bowl

These little browls are hand formed and shaped from speckled stoneware clay.

I have coated the surface of each bowl with layers of glaze and added recycled broken glass to the centre of each bowl which has resulted in the glass melting and fusing with the glazes, creating a glossy crystalised effect in the centre.

On the underside of the bowls there is a light texture where I have laid cotton cloth or textured paper under the clay resulting in a subtle surface texture to the base. The underneath side of the bowls has been left unglazed.

These make the perfect gift displayed with a chunk of soap or simply used to hold jewellery or keys.

Each bowl is individually made and looks uniquely different. Please see the numbered option list to choose a bowl most representative of the photos. Your bowl will be the one photographed or very similar to the number choice. (Please allow for slight differentiation when ordering due to the nature of how the glass melts and crackles.)
