The undergown is created from silk dupion and fastens with a drawstring around the waist, typical of the Victorian era. The beauty of the gown in in the tulle and lace overgown. Bands of pretty Nottinghamshire lace decorate pure silk tulle on the sleeves, bodice and this theme carries through the skirt.
