Bark Texture Oxidised Silver Tie Slide

Hammered texture tie slide made handmade from sterling silver.

To create the rustic bark texture on this sterling silver tie slide, the surface of the silver is hammered, oxidised (where the silver is blackened) then rubbed back, leaving the recesses darker and a matt brushed silver finish. This creates the irregular 'striped' bark effect.

The design is a classic tie slide, but with this unusual surface texture, makes it ideal for someone who loves the outdoors (a gardener or someone who works with trees perhaps) and would be great to wear at a woodland wedding.

This tie slide will arrive beautifully packaged in a Louise Mary branded gift box tied with ribbon.

Each piece is carefully hand crafted using traditional techniques in my jewellery and silversmithing studio in South Derbyshire, England.
